GIRLS DAY 2008
Eight young, pretty girls where guests at starlim//sterner on
June 2008, 24th in the course of the Girls Day Upper Austria.
The Girls Day is a yearly initiative from upper Austria focus on
the integration of girls an women in a manual working place.
At starlim//sterner the day started with a short presentation
and a tour through the production halls. After that the girls
began to work at their tool at the apprenticing tool shop,
leaded by Mr. Koch and Mr. Hofer.
Hammering, sawing, milling – fun factor high, and this was
not just up to the smart male apprentices.
The result was quite presentable: A paperweight with
pen-mounting. After all the work and lunch we had a special
surprise for the girls: They where allowed to give interviews
for the TV-channel WT1.
Result of the day: Women and technic – for some persons
still a little bit strange but promising.
