More fresh air and energy efficiency in production

Targeted alteration of air duct routing means that even more fresh air is conveyed into our production facilities. Specially created air outlets prevent draughts, thus improving the indoor climate considerably. In addition to creating a more pleasant working environment, these improvements also contribute to the health and well-being of our employees, as they can work in surroundings supplied with fresh clean air.

As warm exhaust air rises from the machines, supplying cool air close to the floor achieves efficient cooling. This means that we require less cooling energy and, consequently, less electricity. In addition, the ventilation system itself has been modernised. A new filter stage in the supply air enhances air quality considerably by filtering out pollutants and particles with greater efficiency. This means that our employees work every day in cleaner and healthier air, reducing the risk of respiratory ailments and other health problems.

Moreover, the previous rigid fans have been replaced with fans with variable speed control that adapt to the room temperature. As a consequence, only the volume of air that is actually needed for cooling is brought in, and this also contributes to electricity savings. At the same time, a minimum intake of fresh air is always assured. These conversions have enabled us to reduce the power consumption for ventilation by about half and, simultaneously, guarantee a higher quality of air and, consequently, an enhanced quality of work for our employees.
