starlim awarded with Corona Award
On Monday, 4th of November 2019, the Corona Awards were awarded in the voestalpine Stahlwelt to show which companies in Upper Austria are taking on social responsibility. The starlim group made it to the podium with the “Project Lambach” and got bronze. CEO Thomas Bründl is proud and gives everything to reach silver or even gold next time.
That the industry in Upper Austria shows responsibility is clearly felt. Whether social, cultural or ecological commitment, the entrepreneurs in the region do their best to take on social responsibility. Companies that are particularly committed have now been awarded with the Corona Award. A prize that aims to show which companies are responsible for ensuring sustainability across the whole country.
In the category „Standort-Corona“ for medium-sized family businesses, the starlim-sterner group was awarded with bronze. Not only the excellent apprenticeship training, especially the new construction of Plant 3 in Lambach from the Marchtrenker toolmaker and silicone injection molding specialist show their engagement due to social responsibility. As a result, the company created almost 100 new jobs in the region – with a big future potential.
CEO Thomas Bründl is proud and already evokes wishes for the future: “Next time we will participate again, then we give everything to reach silver or even gold.” Together with his wife Ursula Bründl and Karl Großalber the price was received onstage.
