Great Place to Start – Award 2018
Renewed award for apprentice training at starlim-sterner, toolmaker and silicone injection molder from Marchtrenk, Austria.
On Tuesday, June 26th 2018, the certificates for Austria’s best training companies were handed over again in the Vienna WKO as part of the Great Place to Work® certification. For the second time in a row, starlim-sterner was able to be one of the award winners. “We are proud of our excellent apprentice training and are pleased that the apprentices learn a lot from us and at the same time have fun at work,” says apprentice instructor Reinhard Koch.
On the one hand, the feedback from the apprentices is used for the “Great Place to Start” certification and, on the other hand, the presentation of the apprenticeship concept is evaluated. Important is not only the commitment of the local training companies, but also the promotion of the personal development of apprentices. And that’s the top priority at starlim-sterner.
The trainees rated the fair treatment, the competent work of the trainers and the offered support for their work-related development very well. In addition, the survey found out that 100% of the apprentices are proud to say that they are completing their apprenticeship at starlim-sterner. A special compliment for the apprentice training.
The family-owned company starlim-sterner from Marchtrenk was already honored with the “Great Place to Start” award in 2016 and is very pleased about the renewed certification.
