tech.day 2022: Soft, hygienic, functional – the new silicone hand brush
vlyp, an absolutely new, innovative and multifunctional silicone hand brush, will be launched from 2023 by Swesco Holding GmbH from Sarnen, Switzerland, through an international distribution network. The unique haptic qualities of silicone mean that, in addition to a particularly pleasant feel in the hand, the brush also has two different sides that can be exploited by simply flipping it. It is also multifunctional in its use and can be cleaned in a washing machine, dishwasher or even an autoclave, meaning it can also be used in medical applications.
Whether at home, in the workshop or in the care sector, hands need to be frequently washed. The initial advantage of the silicone brush is evident here, as it is particular soft on the skin. Neither the pin structure on one side nor the lamellae on the other can lead to injuries, but the brush is so effective that even oily dirt particles can be effectively removed. In addition to cleaning hands, vlyp can also be used to clean other body parts effectively, including feet or legs. The lamellar structure also means that the brush has a massage effect that stimulates blood circulation in the skin. Last but not least, other objects can also be cleaned with the brush, including dirty footwear after jogging, or it can be used to remove hairs from the sofa, car seat and clothing. Quite simply, it is a multi-talented all-rounder. As the silicone used withstands high temperatures effectively and can be hygienically cleaned in a dishwasher, washing machine or autoclave at temperatures up to 120 °C, nothing hinders versatile use of the product.
The multi-talented vlyp is available in five colours, and its patent and design holder is Swesco Holding GmbH, a Swiss enterprise. The 71 g brush is manufactured by starlim, the liquid silicone specialist from Marchtrenk in Austria who, with its wealth of experience, also serves as a consultant in matters concerning quality.
